  1. Wow, wow, wow! This is a really impressive unit. Alignment with Montana standards makes it ready to use. I grew up in Vermont and there was ongoing conflict with the Abenaki people (the Abenaki at that time were not a federally recognized nation). My first exposure to outright racism was through the comments, newspaper editorials, and discussions I heard as a child about the Abenaki people who were seeking land rights.
    I look forward to reading this book when I have time to step away from grad work. Would you mind if I shared this blog with a few friends that still teach in VT? They would be hugely appreciative. Thanks, Alli

  2. Of course, Alli! Originally, we had a link to an internet hunt that incorporated much of what you see, but of course as of last Thursday, the website no longer exists.
